International Committee of Red Cross Project (ICRC Project)

Since the beginning of 2017, SSM has been collaborating with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Improved Cook Stoves (ICS) projects. The managers of the ICRC visited SSM in person and have purchased the affordable ICS for the refugees in Somalia. The fuel of the ICS they purchased is charcoal.

SSM ICS are designed to be more efficient and environmentally friendly than traditional open fires or basic stoves, and they offer several benefits:
