How do SSM’s stoves impact people in Africa?

For many in Rwanda, even other African countries, cooking with charcoal remains a daily reality – slow, expensive and harmful to both health and the environment. With nearly 93% of Rwandans relying on charcoal, the need for cleaner, more affordable cooking solutions is urgent. SSMs' produced, smokeless pellet stoves are not only better for the environment but also more affordable for customers.

Since its launch in 2007, SSM has already impacted over millions of households, saving them up to 55% on fuel costs, 81% on cooking time and reducing biomass use by 92%. With SSM’s more designs suitable for underdeveloped countries, we believe more clients and people will know us, like our products, because they are quite efficienct, affordable, smokeless and durable.   SSM will be able to expand its reach and production, impacting more households in the coming years for sure.
