Africa has a strong demand for clean improved cookstoves. The market structure, where rural areas mainly use wood fuel and urban areas focus on charcoal, provides space for the adaptive development of the cookstove industry. The carbon credit trading mechanism has injected new impetus into the industry. Countries like Rwanda have generated and sold carbon credits through clean cookstove projects, gaining considerable benefits to feed back project expansion. SSM has actively participated in the African market with advantages in technology and cost-effectiveness. Despite challenges such as imperfect service systems, with the deepening of localized production and cooperation, coupled with the development of blue ocean scenarios like agricultural product drying, Africa's clean improved cookstove industry is expected to achieve large-scale development, contributing to global carbon emission reduction goals.
